Post-Secondary Department Manager Training Program

The Post-Secondary Department Manager Training Program offers students customized training which prepares students for management careers with the CRS.

Students are offered management experience in a variety of departments including Accounting, Agro, Food, Gas Bar/Convenience Store and Pharmacy areas.

A mentorship learning program is used to assist students develop the skills and experience they need to succeed. Students are introduced to a variety of training experiences and skills including Business Planning, Budgeting/Financial Analysis, Ordering/Buying Strategies, Inventory Control, Pricing Strategies, Marketing Strategies, Merchandising, Service Management and Human Resources Management.

The Post-Secondary Department Manager Training Program also offers students of Co-operative Business Education Programs work terms to complete their work experience requirements.

To be eligible for the Post-Secondary Department Manager Training Program, candidates must be students or graduates of two- to four-year post-secondary education programs.
