We invite applications for the position of Pharmacist at our Central Alberta Pharmacy (TBD) who will be responsible for :
• Prepare and oversee the preparation of prescription medication to patients or medical practitioners and make decisions regarding generic substitution of prescribed pharmaceuticals.
• Counsel patients and/or medical practitioners on drug indications/contraindications, dosage, drug interaction and side effects & provide other drug & pharmaceutical information
• Take patient histories as required, making initial clinical assessments and referring patients to appropriate clinicians 
• Provide guidance to Pharmacy Assistants and monitor performance
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager

Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, this position requires a Licensed professional in Pharmacy.  We are looking for candidates that also possess the following competencies:

• Licensed as a Pharmacist
• Organizational and interpersonal skills
• Quality communication skills
The successful candidate will possess previous Pharmacy experience, as well as excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
