The Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) is a unique, multi-billion dollar organization based on the fundamental principles of co-operation. It is comprised of a network of approximately 170 autonomous retail co-operatives across Western Canada along with their branch operations, and Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL). FCL is the wholesaling/manufacturing arm of the CRS, which provides the retail co-ops with a range of products and services.

Lloydminster & District Co-op invites applications for the position of Ag Retail Manager to join our team at our Lloydminster Agro location located in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan.
 
Reporting to the Vice President Agriculture the Ag Retail Manager is responsible for:

• Direct the daily operations of the facility safely, efficiently and profitably
• work with sales staff to achieve sales and growth targets
• targeting and acquiring new grower customers
• understanding customer needs and providing product solution recommendations
• maintaining customer management database
• Human Resource Management relating to hiring, coaching, training and performance management
• responsible for retail audits and inventory management
• manage accounts payables and receivables
• proactive maintenance of facilities to ensure safe working environment and longevity of equipment


Qualifications
• A diploma or degree in Agriculture or Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) accreditation, would be considered an asset.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in Agriculture Retail; preferably in leadership capacity
• Strong agricultural background with experience in crop protection products and farm supplies.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and with a team
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with members and customers
• ability to operate mobile power equipment
• mechanically savvy
