The Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) is a unique, multi-billion dollar organization based on the fundamental principles of co-operation. It is comprised of a network of approximately 170 autonomous retail co-operatives across Western Canada along with their branch operations, and Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL). FCL is the wholesaling/manufacturing arm of the CRS, which provides the retail co-ops with a range of products and services. North Corridor Co-operative Association invites applications for the position of Human Resources Coordinator.

North Corridor Co-operative Association invites applications for the position of Human Resources Coordinator to join our team located in Boyle, Alberta.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing daily HR services to retail team leads and team members.  With experience as a Human Resources Generalist, the incumbent will provide support with respect to talent acquisition, integration/orientation, employee relations, training and development, employee engagement,  and coaching and support for all other talent management practices.

• Facilitate the talent acquisition of non-management/management positions or North Corridor Co-op.
• Facilitate on-boarding/integration for both team members and team leaders in both new team member situations but also with respect to talent management practices so roles and responsibilities are clearly understood.
• Support and assist with Benefits and Compensation as well as the Employee and Family Assistance Program.
• Coordinate and manage in all aspects of training and development identification and action planning.
• Provide coaching and support to team leaders and team members on all aspects of talent management practices (goal setting, performance coaching, development coaching, etc.).

• Diploma or Degree, preference for Human Resources.
• Two to three years of human resources experience is preferred.
• CHRP designation and co-op experience are considered an asset.
