Irma Co-op invites applications for the position of Retail Manager at our office in Irma, Alberta.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Retail Manager concentrates on the development of a corporate direction, goals and tactical operational plans with direction and approval supplied by the Board. The primary responsibilities of this role are encompassed in, and not limited to, the following:
• Strategy: develop and communicate short-term strategy for the organization to team members and leaders, with awareness of impact to the Co-operative.
• Fiscal (Financial Stewardship): assuming responsibility for the overall strength and financial health of the organization by developing and implementing budgets, and conducting cost/benefit analyses for operational improvement.
• Operational Efficiency and Effectiveness: implementing and utilizing operational best practices for the Co-operative.
• Relationships: developing, maintaining and encouraging positive and effective relationships with team members and leaders, FCL Retail Advisor, peer General Managers, stakeholders, members, external customers and other parties.
• Leadership: leading, engaging and managing Irma Co-op’s talent through effective leadership and optimal people practices.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and have:
• A Bachelor of Business Administration/Commerce or a combination of equitable education and/or experience in relation to education
• 5+ years of relevant experience with 1-2 years focusing on leading projects or people within the retail industry or CRS, including experience in managing budgets, timelines, people and processes
• Additional Training & Development: Accelerated Retail Manager Advance, Retail Mgr group training
