Prairie Co-op is now looking for a full-time Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who will be involved in multiple aspects of Human Resources Management, including the administration of training and certification, employee health and wellness, return to work process, Workers’ Compensation (WCB) process, attendance management, and Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) programs, etc.

• Co-ordinate, administer and document all types of training courses and certification programs.
• Provide information and administrative support in the areas of employee health and wellness.
• Collect documents and analyze information regarding employees’ fit for duty and need for accommodation.
• Co-ordinate, support and document the Return to Work process, Workers’ Compensation (WCB) process, and the Attendance Management Program.
• Provide support and documentation in administering OH&S programs and procedures.
• Support the Human Resources Manager and Health & Safety Manager with other administrative duties.

• University degree or diploma in Human Resource Management or Business Administration.
• 1-2 years’ experience in Human Resources and/or Health and Safety administration is preferred
(a combination of relevant experience and skills will be considered).
• Excellent communication (verbal & written), interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Highly proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), database experience is an asset.
