Store Manager (Lipton, Retail)

Prairie Co-op is hiring a Store Manager to join our grocery/hardware/lumber/gas bar team at the store located in Lipton, Saskatchewan.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you are responsible for the store’s daily operation and staff management, as well as the annual budgeting and talent management programs implementation.
• Be responsible for the store’s sales, margin, expenses, inventory and SPEH.
• Ensure the proper processes of staffing, performance management, employee engagement and health & safety are followed.
• Ensure staff attitude is appropriate and excellent service is provided to our customers.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:
• You have a degree or diploma in business administration or equivalent.
• You have over 10 years of experience in the retail sector and a minimum of 2-3 years of managerial experience.
• You have proven ability to lead and motivate team members, manage their performance and support them in continual self development.
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
